ChessHub

ChessHub is a web application for chess enthusiasts that allows players to compete against each other.

  3. Clone the forked repo to your local machine.

  1. Change the present working directory.
cd ChessHub
  1. Create a new branch.
git checkout -b new-branch
  1. Create a .env file in both frontend and backend directory according to the .env.example files with the required environment variables.
  2. Install the dependencies for frontend.
cd frontend
npm install
  1. Install the dependencies in the backend.
cd backend
npm install
  1. Start the frontend
cd frontend
npm run dev
  1. Start the backend
cd backend
npm run dev
  1. Visit http://localhost:5173 in your browser to view the application.
